ABOUT ME

My Approach

I employ the Orton-Gillingham Approach in my work. This is a direct, explicit, multi-sensory, structured, sequential, Diagnostic and perspective way to teach literacy when reading, writing and spelling does not come easily to individuals such as those with dyslexia.  It's best understood and practiced as an approach, not a method, program or system.  Practitioners and their students benefit from breadth, depth, and flexibility.  In general, the Orton-Gillingham Approach is backed by 70 years of validated science, research, and successful studies, making it a trusted and proven way to get results.
